YOUTH MARTIAL ARTS
Youth Karate Program (Ages 7 – 12)
Our traditional children’s karate classes are the heart and soul of Kick Masters Karate. Happening at various times throughout the week, all classes are geared toward one primary goal: TO BUILD LEADERS.
Beginning students lay their martial arts foundations at two traditional classes per week with the option to attend the Striking/Self-defense and Details class (participants are invited into this program after the completion of the 5-week INTRODUCTORY Martial Arts Class). Intermediate students train diligently three to four times per week and have access to add-on classes such as weaponry, sparring, and private lessons. Advanced students at Kick Masters train six to seven days a week and are considered by some to be “professional athletes.”
Regardless of which belt level a student currently holds, all classes are designed to instill confidence, courage, and the ability to defend against an attacker. Participants also learn how to overcome peer pressure, how to combat verbal and physical bullying, and how to battle a sedentary lifestyle. But most importantly, our Youth Karate Program will solidify:
FOCUS
RESPECT
DISCIPLINE
DETAIL
DILIGENCE
It goes without saying that each student’s physicality (flexibility, balance, strength, and endurance) will increase by training in martial arts at Kick Masters Karate. But, we like to think that forging character is one of the strongest benefits we offer.
In fact, building CHARACTER is what we do best!
