Teen Martial Arts
Teen Martial Arts Program (Ages 12 – 17)
Our Teen/Adult Class meets twice a week (specifically on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 8:30PM) and lasts about 60-70 minutes. This program is perfect the tool to empower young adults as they navigate “coming into their own,” battle peer pressure, maneuver social anxiety, and/or struggle with lethargy. Bottom line: MARTIAL ARTS CAN STABALIZE THE DYNAMICS OF THE TEEN YEARS.
Classes specifically teach the intricacies of the martial arts in a more analytical and methodical fashion. Students participate in challenging workouts, stimulating drills, and learn thought-provoking concepts, designed to build the body and the mind together. Training at the teen level combines cardiovascular endurance with muscle strength and flexibility.
Workouts are designed to give students the confidence, knowledge, and ability to defend against an attacker, while at the same time, introducing physical aspects of the martial arts such as balance, mobility, focus, and dexterity.
Also, each class focuses on building a better you with our “health fact,” “weight loss,” and our “quote of the week.”
New students can enroll at any time into this program – it’s truly a “game changer” for teens looking for something new.
