Activities for August:  Bootcamp and Dojo Campout

Mr. Rando is hosting the 2010 Summer Make-up Bootcamp on Thursday, August 19 and/or Friday, August 20.  Summer Bootcamp is a great way to get caught up on new and old material that was missed throughout the summer because of vacations, sickness, birthday, picnics, etc.  It is also a fantastic way to get ahead on the existing curriculum, or brush up on material needed for passing your Board of Review.  Half-hour sessions will focus on katas, techniques, basics/basic kicking, self-defense, sparring, and terms from white to Black Belt level.  Times each day are from 12:00-3:00 and KMK will accommodate the first 20 people who sign-up and register.  The cost for Summer Bootcamp is $30.00 per day or $55.00 for both days.  The only rank that cannot attend is white belt (Sorry Guys)!

Once again, Kick Masters Karate will host the 2010 “End of Summer Overnight Dojo Campout”.  Campout dates will be on Saturday, August 21st at 7:00 PM to Sunday, August 22nd at 8:30 AM (that’s 13˝ hours of non-stop karate fun).  Ages allowed at the overnight campout: ages 6-13 (unless a special exemption is given or a parent stays - all children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult).  All Kick Masters students are welcome to attend the campout and may bring one friend to sleep over (although that friend must have a signed Kick Masters waiver prior to the 21st – see the front desk to get waivers for friends). The cost will be $29.00 per student and must be paid prior to the 21st.  This covers food, games, snacks, staffing, prizes, candy, etc.  There will be NO cost to adults and/or chaperones; spending the night with crazy karate kids is payment enough!  Sign-up on the information table to attend this unforgettable yearly event!
